Domestic Holidays Save Money
All too often we think of a holiday meaning a flight to a far-flung foreign country where you can spend your days relaxing by the beach sipping a cocktail or taking a walk through the bazaars looking for local leather goods. Fair enough, a holiday in the sun is nice and relaxing but all too often the holiday leaves you in debt for the rest of the year.
One of the easiest ways to avoid the costs of an international holiday is to take a domestic break and discover your own country! This cuts out a lot of the major traveling expenses such as flights and car hire etc.
- Cutting Costs
- When you holiday within your own country you can forget about booking a flight or arranging for car hire. Why not drive to your destination or go on a road trip to discover places and things you have never appreciated before? A holiday on the road is very fulfilling in that you always feel like you're going somewhere rather than lounging around aimlessly. You also have less costs to content with.
- Cut Costs Further With A RV
- Hire a RV and take advantage of staying wherever you want. You'll not have to worry about flights, checkin times etc. Just drive and do whatever you want.
- Don't Lose On Currency Conversion
- When you travel to a foreign country you always lose on the currency conversion because any time you lift money out of an ATM you are charged a handling fee. Taking a holiday within your own country will save you this surcharge.
